The story behind
MCR Machinery
Born with a knack for craftsmanship and raised as the son of a vegetable trader, Jan Pieter Reijnoudt was also blessed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Looking back, it’s no surprise that Jan Pieter would eventually start his own business. That business became MCR Machinery in the Noordoostpolder.
In 2007, Jan Pieter founded his company as a repair and construction business for potato and vegetable processors. He named it MCR Machinery, which stands for Machine Constructie Reijnoudt.
With his independent and inventive mindset, Jan Pieter came up with ways to make existing machines work faster and more efficiently. It didn’t take long before his first customers asked him to design and build entirely new machines. This turned out to be a success, and MCR Machinery gradually evolved into a fully-fledged machine factory.
