The pre-soaking unit is designed to efficiently process both floating and sinking products. The infinitely adjustable discharge conveyor allows the output capacity to be adjusted as required. Below the unit is an auger chute for discharge of sinking particles, such as clay and sand. Floating products are propelled to the discharge conveyor via a thrust pipe so they are not left behind. Optionally, an output reel can be added, controlling soaking time and capacity. Product infeed can be via a tipper or feed conveyor.
